It was a long heal, and in the process, this big guy decided that his harsh days of street surviving didn't have to be that way anymore. He rubs his big head into your hand, likes to be brushed, but doesn't trust quite enough yet to pick him up freely. He's got a ratty, throaty purr, and beat the odds by being in the 5 year old range when most street cats don't live past 2.
