Sean is a Black Shepherd X, coming up 1 year old. We held him back from adoption for awhile until we get some socializing and confidence into him, and he's come so far now that we feel more confident talking him up for adoption. Another mature dog in the home would be great for him to follow and learn from, and he's been respectful around our cats. Leashwork, crate work and basic commands are all there ... he's not our choice for people with young children, but those who are in the 12+ range would likely be fine. He still has his unsure moments with new experiences but looks to the human to help tell him what to do, and he really benefits from that structure and guidance. He is a loving and affectionate dog once that trust has been established.
