He's a shy boy who is slowly coming around to being handled ... food is a motivator for him! And he's so young, only a 1 year old, and he'll come through his shyness to start to welcome touch and affection from humans. A patient home is all he needs to really shine. Have to admit when he "talks" to you, it's pretty endearing!
