Pete is a transfer from another group, a big fellow on 4 years old or so. He is a quiet, alert and slightly aloof personality ... he has solid leash skills and is calm in the vehicle. Basic commands are there. He is better with female dogs! Suspect he won't be ideal for a home with cats, a bit too alert to have a comfort level there. He is a quiet dog, but when he does bark, we all pay attention (definitely lets us know if coyotes are near). With people, his affection increases with familiarity and handling ... he's interested in meeting new people but no work with children as yet.  We can say he loves his big memory foam bed!
