At 10 years old, Mikka has a host of health considerations for any potential adopter ... we agreed to take Mikka on an owner-surrender from a fellow leaving the country, but had no idea how poor her veterinary care had been. She is mostly blind, can see shadows only and does require 2 different eye meds twice a day. Additionally, she does have Cushings, another daily med. Health issues aside, Mikka is one of the sweetest nature'd dogs we've had in a while. That tail starts wagging as soon as she is spoken to and does follow the sounds of voices very well. She's been so willing to play and hang about with the other dogs, and just goes to lay off on her own when she's done. Loves her pets, her soft bedding and with the chillier weather, happy for short turns outdoors before snuggling in for a good snooze. She's been aware but uninterested in our cats, and likes the attention from children, too.
