IN ADOPTION TRIAL: Found north of Calgary when he wandered into a farm, Quinn is approx. 2 - 3 years old, a small Black Lab X (approx. 40 lbs) who is such a fun, quirky dog, he'll make someone a great companion. He loves to play with other dogs, has a thing for water, learnt to trust humans very quickly and now wants to be everyone's friend. He's is aware but not reactive to our cats, is still scared of the vehicle but doesn't do anything dangerous, is quite vocal when food is being prepared, and makes great eye contact. Quinn has a congenital birth defect in his hips which will require surgery and recovery, a surgery that will be done locally and covered by HCW. Questions can be answered on what that involves, and we're hoping to find an owner for him who will work with us on his hip issues. He's such a good nature'd dog, and has many good years in him.
