Jin is on 4 years old, an Anatoly Shepherd we've been told. Originally brought in through Bylaw for running at large, Jin is an independent soul and was initially aloof with all of us, but as he settled and acclimitized, we've come to appreciate his quiet, watchful nature and his willingness to learn a whole new way of life. Jin is unlikely to be a safe dog around cats or small breed dogs, but with larger breeds (both male and female), he can be a true friend and will play well and respectfully. He walks beautifully on leash, is calm in the vehicle and only barks when there's something we should be aware of.  This is a very large dog, and we have not had him around children at this point.
