At 2 years old, Janie (otherwise known as Sass!) has been with our trainer to help her become more confident and less reactive with other dogs. She has always been lovely and affectionate with people, but her "edge" with other dogs held her back from adoption until we could get a handle on the why's and learn how to help her through her insecurities.  We are looking for the calm, confident owner who will call her on her moments of poor behavior and be that leader to her that she'll need to enjoy a well-rounded, full life. She isn't for a first-time dog owner. Older children, cats, and another mature dog in the home are all possibilities for her now!
