No doubt, Avi is a stunning dog. And a very big one. Transferred from another organization, we've taken some time to get to know him before we started talking him up for adoption. His breed is super-protective of his people and property, known for their prey drive (which have to agree, he's not trustworthy with cats or with other dogs), and to complicate matters, he has congenital hip dysplasia in both hips. Avi will have to live a reasonably lazy life, limited stairs and ongoing joint supplements. He walks well on leash, until he sees something he wants and then hang on! Not a fan of the vehicle, but we're working on it. He is a Caucasian Bear Dog, approx. 2.5 years old.
