She's a petite Shepherd X of approx. 2 years old. She crate trained in two sessions, takes gentle corrections on leash almost immediately, rarely barks and shyly, gently will approach people and children to make friends. There is something really lovely in how this girl makes eye contact with you, and it just feels like she's asking "are you the one?". She doesn't push her way to the front for attention, waiting patiently while other dogs rush forward. But when she gets your full attention, it's like you've given her such a beautiful gift. The word "sweet" is used all the time to describe dogs, but in her case it fits. Alma is a sweet dog who wants to "fit". We don't think she'd thrive in a super busy home. Something a little quieter, more mature ideally.
